 Egyptian Mallow




:Ingredients

  • Mallow green leaves a quarter of a kilo
  • Ready-made soup (any kind of meat or chicken soup ) four and a half cups
  • Fresh garlic five or six cloves
  • Maggie's gravy mold, one mold
  • Teaspoon sugar
  • Ready coriander is a small spoon and a half
  • Black pepper a quarter of a teaspoon
  • Salt as needed
  • Four-lobed Mastic
  • Margarine my tablespoon

:How to prepare Egyptian Mallow

  1. We wash the Mallow leaves, spread them on kitchen paper and let them dry from the water.
  2. Cut the Mallow leaves with a knife.
  3. Finely chop it with a special knife.
  4. We boil the syrup, add the broth mold, sugar, black pepper and a teaspoon of salt to it.
  5. In a frying pan on the fire we melt margarine, add Mastic, dry coriander and finely mashed garlic and stir until the garlic is well browned.
  6. Add the Mallow to the boiling syrup and turn off the fire just because it is boiling and stir with boiling.
  7. Add the roasted garlic directly to it while it is hot and cover the Mallow.
  8. We leave it three minutes covered to take on the aroma of garlic.
  9. We serve Egyptian Mallow with rice and bread.
